Whisky or whiskey is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage made from any form of fermented grain mash. Depending on the geographical region or type of whiskey that is being made, whiskey can be made from barley, malted barley, rye, malted rye, wheat, and corn. They are often aged in charred barrels.

It was first originated in Italy in the 13th Century during the distillation process of alcohol.  The color of whiskey changes from light yellow to brown. Whiskey has a strong aroma. Vodka does not undergo aging process while whiskey does. The color of Vodka has no color whereas whiskey appearance changes from light yellow to brown. Vodka is also served in cocktails whereas whiskey is served purely. Vodka is odorless while whiskey has a strong aroma.
